With a five-wicket win at Ranchi, India completed a hat-trick of victories in the series, clinching their 17th successive Test series win at home. With the win, India extended their lead in the second position of the WTC table, behind toppers New Zealand, who currently have the best PCT (75). India have a PCT of 64.58.
For reference, each win hands a team 12 points, while a draw gives four points. In case of a tie, each team receives six points, but a defeat amounts to nothing.
