Watch: Rishabh Pant caught the eye before the start of play in the Duleep Trophy on Sunday, as he joined the opposition team's huddle.
At the end of day three, Pant's team, India B, had scored 150-6 after losing Nitish Kumar Reddy on the final ball of the day. They led by 240 runs, and Pant was no longer required to bat in the game, having been dismissed for 61 the previous evening.
The players completed their warmup routines, and returned to the dressing room to change into their whites. But Pant and a few others not required to be in immediate action remained outside.

As India A, the fielding side, emerged from the dressing room and got into a team huddle before taking the field, Pant was spotted joining them, even as captain Shubman Gill addressed his side. Once the players dispersed, Pant was seen sharing a laugh with fast bowler Avesh Khan before joining his team in the pavilion.
The incident fit in nicely with Pant's easygoing nature, and the light-heartedness of the proceedings. On day three, Pant had been involved in another humorous incident as he gloved a Khaleel Ahmed bouncer for four, and the bowler pretended to sledge him before the pair laughed it off.
India B were eventually bowled out for 184, setting India A 275 to win. At the time of writing, they were 131-6, with KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav batting.
