The Duleep Trophy squads for the second round were announced by the BCCI today. Here are the changes to the squads, the list of players drafted and the changes in the upcoming round.
The first round of the Duleep Trophy, which served as the curtain-raiser to India’s domestic season, saw four teams battle it out in the first round, from September 5.
Several India players participated, including Rishabh Pant, Shubham Gill, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer after the BCCI’s strict directive that international players must make themselves available for domestic red-ball cricket if there are no prior commitments.
Following a hiatus of nearly six weeks, the Indian team will be back in action with the Test series against Bangladesh, from September 19, the squad for which was announced on Sunday. According to reports, there will be a five-day camp in Chennai for the team before the first Test begins.

The second round of the Duleep Trophy is set to begin on September 12, but without the players who have been picked for the Bangladesh series.
The selectors have replaced Shubman Gill, KL Rahul and Dhruv Jurel with Pratham Singh, Akshay Wadkar and Shaik Rasheed. Left-arm spinner Shams Mulani has come in place of Kuldeep Yadav, while Aqib Khan replaced Akash Deep.
India’s B Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant are in India’s Test series against Bangladesh, with Suyash Prabhudessai and Rinku Singh announced as replacements. Sarfaraz Khan, part of the upcoming series, will still feature in the second round. Himanshu Mantri has been added to the squad.
In Team D, Axar Patel will be replaced by Nishant Sandhu, while Tushar Deshpande, ruled out the second match due to a niggle will be replaced by India A's Vidwath Kaverappa.
