The Duleep Trophy kickstarts the 2024/25 Indian domestic season, with four teams: India A, B, C and D, lined up to play five matches in Bengaluru and Anantapur.

Duleep Trophy live: India C 63-1 at lunch
Ruturaj Gaikwad (24) and Rajat Patidar (26) have taken India C to 63-1 at lunch on the fourth day against India B.
They lead by 256, and the match is headed for a draw.

Chasing 488, India D are 190-4 at lunch on the last day against India A.
At the crease are Ricky Bhui (85) and Sanju Samson (17).

Despite a 193-run lead, India C captain opted for batting practice ahead of going all out for an outright win.
They are 63-1 and currently lead by 256, having lost Sai Sudharsan to Mukesh Kumar.
Gaikwad (24) and Rajat Patidar (26) are at the crease.

India D refuse to get tied down even after Shreyas Iyer’s wicket. Sanju Samson cleared the boundary off Shams Mulani (2-68).
Chasing 488, India D are 180-4. Ricky Bhui is out there, on 82.

Chasing 488, India D were 102-1 when Shams Mulani first ran out Yash Dubey (37), then bowled Devdutt Padikkal (1).
The ball to bowl Padikkal turned sharply at a vicious angle to run through the defence.
Duleep Trophy live: Easwaran carries bat, India B bowled out
India B has been bowled out for 332.
Captain Abhimanyu Easwaran carried the bat through the innings with 157 not out, but apart from his opening partner N Jagadeesan (70), no one else reached 25.
Anshul Kamboj finished with 8-69.
Declaration: India A
India A have declared at 380-3. India D will now need 488 runs to win, in four sessions of play. Tilak Varma finishes on 111 nout out, and Shashwat Rawat on 64 not out.

One among India's exciting crop of upcoming batters, Tilak Varma adds to his first-class credentials with a century here for India A. His partner, Shashwat Rawat, has also scored a half-century.
India A are 355-3, leading by 462 runs.

Abhimanyu Easwaran, captain of India B, has stood firm through his side's innings, and brings up a well-made century.
India B are 216-5 and trail by 309 runs.
Five wickets for Anshul Kamboj!
Haryana's medium pacer Anshul Kamboj has ripped through India B. He has all of the first five wickets to fall, now dismissing Nitish Kumar Reddy for two.
India B are 205-5, trailing by 320 runs.
Kamboj takes four as Rinku goes cheaply
Playing his first Duleep Trophy match this year, Rinku Singh has been dismissed for six. It is Anshul Kamboj's fourth wicket of the innings.
India B are 193-4, trailing by 332 runs.
Parag perishes, Tilak bats on
Riyan Parag has been dismissed by Saurabh Kumar for 20, but Tilak Varma continues to go on. He is unbeaten on 67.
India A are 270-3, leading by 377 runs.

Anshul Kamboj gets Sarfaraz!
This has been some day for pacer Anshul Kamboj. After taking the wicket of N Jagadeesan earlier, he has now trapped both brothers – Musheer and Sarfaraz Khan –lbw.
India B are 175-3, trailing by 350 runs.
Sarfaraz, Easwaran begin to graft
Abhimanyu Easwaran and Sarfaraz Khan have chosen to consolidate for now, with the latter on 13 off 43 balls.
India B are 170-2, trailing by 355 runs.
Saurabh Kumar gets the breakthrough
That's the end of Pratham Singh's knock. He is dimissed by Saurabh Kumar for 122.
India A are 219-2, leading by 326 runs.

Pratham Singh takes 14 runs off Vidwath Kaverappa's over to go past the three-figure mark, his second in first-class cricket.
India A are 186-1, leading by 293 runs.
Musheer Khan goes early!
Anshul Kamboj removed N Jagadeesan for 70, and has now trapped Musheer Khan lbw for just one run.
India B are 133-2, trailing by 392 runs.
Pratham Singh closing in on triple figures
Opener Pratham Singh is on 81, and nearing a century. He has Tilak Varma for company, and India A's lead is 264 runs now.
Shreyas Iyer strikes!
Shreyas Iyer brings himself into the attack, and manages to dismiss his opposite number, Mayank Agarwal, caught and bowled.
It is just his fifth first-class wicket.

Devdutt Padikkal scored 92 for India D, but couldn't prevent the opposition from taking a 107-run lead.
Khaleel Ahmed and Aaqib Khan have taken three wickets apiece.
Padikkal soldiers on as India D struggle
India D have slipped to 123-6 against India A, but Devdutt Padikkal continues to grind it out. He is unbeaten on 68, with Saurabh Kumar for company.
India C bowled out for 525
Manav Suthar's 82 on day two has helped India C to a total of 525. For India B, Mukesh Kumar and Rahul Chahar have taken two wickets apiece.

Left-arm spinner Manav Suthar took a seven wicket haul in the first round, and has now made his way to a half-century.
India C are 488-8 in 114 overs against India B.
Kamboj, Suthar pile on the runs for India C
Anshul Kamboj and Manav Suthar put on 55 runs for the eighth wicket in just 62 balls, before Kamboj's dismissal for a quickfire 38.
India C are 461-8 in 105 overs, against India B.
Sanju Samson goes early
After Shreyas Iyer's dismissal, Sanju Samson has now failed to make his opportunity count. He miscues a pull to mid-on, and departs for five.
India D are 61-4 in 21 overs.

After bowling out India A for 290, India D have begun to bat on day two. They have lost two quick wickets, with captain Shreyas Iyer the second to go, for a seven-ball duck.
India D are now 10-2 in 3 overs.

Ruturaj Gaikwad, skipper of India C, returned to bat last evening after retiring hurt. He has brought up his half-century early on day two.

In his first first-class match since July 2023, Ishan Kishan has hit 86 so far for India C. Accompanying him is Baba Indrajith, on 51.
India C are 240-2 after India B won the toss and opted to field.

India A were 144-6 when Kumar Kushagra fell, but Mumbai teammates Shams Mulani (54) and Tanush Kotian (44) have since added 73.

Ruturaj Gaikwad retires hurt
Ruturaj Gaikwad, captain of India C, had to retire hurt on 4 off 2 after reportedly suffering an ankle twist while running. He was replaced by Rajat Patidar.

Kumar Kushagra (19) and Shams Mulani (11) ensured there was no further damage until lunch.
Of the five wickets, Vidwath Kaverappa has taken two, while Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, and Saransh Jain have one apiece.

Ishan Kishan (20) and Baba Indrajith (1) have taken India C to 121-2 at lunch after Sai Sudharsan (43) and Rajat Patidar (40) fell in quick succession.
