Which teams have been promoted and relegated?
Sussex and Yorkshire will play in Division One after getting a promotion last season, while Kent and Lancashire have been relegated to Division Two. Overall, Division Two has eight teams while Division One has ten.
County Championship 2025: Full schedule
Defending champions Surrey will play Essex in their first round fixture in Chelmsford.
Eight rounds will be played till the end of May. Rounds nine and ten will be played between June 22 and July 2, rounds 11 and 12 between July 22 and August 1, and rounds 13-15 between September 8-27.
