St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have announced their squad for the 2024 Caribbean Premier League, with some marquee overseas signings included. Here's the full list of all the players they've retained and signed.
CPL 2024: St Kitts & Nevis Patriots team news
From winning the tournament in 2021, the Patriots have had a challenging few years in the CPL, coming fifth out of six in the league in 2022 and stone dead last in 2023. However, they've made some big signings to boost their chances for 2024.
Sri Lanka spinner Wanindu Hasaranga will bolster their bowling department, coming in alongside Zimbabwe captain Sikandar to form a high-profile spin attack. South Africa hard-hitter Tristan Stubbs returns for another year, and Rilee Rossouw has also picked up a deal with the side, having signed for Trinbago Knight Riders last year. Stubbs is currently in the Caribbean with the South Africa Test side, batting at No.3 in a new-look top order against the West Indies.
For the domestic players, Evin Lewis will captain the side for a second year. He took the lead in 2023, taking over from Dwayne Bravo who moved to Trinbago Knight Riders. Sheldon Cottrell has been released, however, as have Yannic Cariah, Oshane Thomas and Jyd Goolie. 20-year-old allrounder Johann Layne joins the squad.
