Kieron Pollard, David Miller and Dwayne Bravo have all played 500 or more T20 matches.

On Wednesday night, South African batter David Miller reached the milestone of 500 career matches in the T20 format. Here is the full list of players who have played the most men's T20s.

In the 2024 Caribbean Premier League, Miller was named in the playing XI for Barbados Royals against Guyana Amazon Warriors in a crucial clash between the second and third-placed sides in the league.

Chasing 220, Miller smashed 71 off 34, but got little support from the rest, as they lost by 47 runs.

Miller also managed to reach a significant career milestone, as he played his 500th T20 match, becoming the just the first South African and second player from outside the Caribbean islands to do so.

Miller became the sixth player overall to register 500 appearances in men's T20 cricket, playing for 26 different teams along the way. 125 of his matches, exactly one-fourth, have come for South Africa in international cricket between 2010 and 2024.

His first T20 match came in April 2008 in the Standard Bank Pro20 Series, representing Dolphins against Warriors as his side secured a simple six-wicket win.

Miller has some way to go before he can think about becoming the most-capped T20 player of all time, though. Kieron Pollard currently tops the list with 684 appearances, and like Miller, is playing in the CPL. Nobody else has played 600 T20 matches, with Dwayne Bravo closest at 582 matches. Bravo's career has taken a hit though, after he suffered an injury in his previous CPL fixture for Trinbago Knight Riders.

Sunil Narine and Andre Russell are the other two from the Caribbean ahead of Miller in terms of T20 appearances. The only other player from outside those islands to make 500 T20 appearances is Shoaib Malik, from Pakistan.

The South African batter is the third-youngest to play 500 T20s, at the age of 35 years and 108 days. Pollard and Narine are the only others who managed to get to 500 matches aged 35 years or younger.
