The weather is likely to play spoilsport in the ongoing Test match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe at Sylhet.
It had rained on the first day of the ongoing Bangladesh-Zimbabwe Test match at Sylhet, but there had been enough time for Blessing Muzarabani (3-50) and Wellington Masakadza (3-21) to bowl out Bangladesh for 191 despite contributions from Mominul Haque (56) and Najmul Hossain Shanto (40).
Brian Bennett (57) and Sean Williams (59) then helped Zimbabwe secure an 82-run lead as Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed 5-52 and Nahid Rana 3-74. Bangladesh finished day two on 57-1.

More rain in the air at Sylhet
Weather.com predicts isolated thunderstorms – these are not uncommon in April – around 3 PM local time on the third day of the Test match, and then again at around 5 PM (the official time for stumps). Things do not look any better for the fourth or fifth days (or nights).
The Accuweather predictions are just as bleak. There will be thunderstorms around 2 PM, and there will be intermittent bursts for the rest of the day. Showers are predicted at around 8 AM on the fourth day and then again at 11 AM, though the remainder of the day seems better. The fifth day may be dry, even sunny.
The BBC weather forecast reads “thundery showers” for almost all of the third day and right up to noon on the fourth. Things may clear up for about a couple of hours after that, but it is likely to rain after that, and continue until noon on the fifth day.
