South Africa beat Bangladesh in the second Test match in Chattogram to win the two-match series 2-0. Here's the updated World Test Championship points table following the second BAN-SA Test.
South Africa chose to bat first in this match, and made the most of conditions early on. After Aiden Markram and Tony de Zorzi put on an opening stand of 69, de Zorzi and Tristan Stubbs put on 201 for the second wicket, each scoring their maiden ton in Test cricket.
On day two, de Zorzi continued to bat on, eventually scoring 177. There was a mini-slide in the middle-order, before Wiaan Mulder became the third maiden centurion of the innings, scoring an unbeaten 105. Senuran Muthusamy (68*) and David Bedingham (59)'s half-centuries helped take the score up to 575-6, at which point they declared.
South Africa took four wickets at the end of day two, before bundling Bangladesh out for 159 after lunch on day three, thanks to Kagiso Rabada's five-wicket haul. They enforced the follow-on, and finally won by an innings and 273 runs as Keshav Maharaj took a five-wicket haul second time around.
