A week after New Zealand levelled a Test series 1-1 against Bangladesh at the latter’s fortress of Mirpur, the two sides played an ODI series that NZ won 2-1. New Zealand won the first two matches, before Bangladesh grabbed a win in the third one.
University Oval in Dunedin hosted the first match on December 17 followed by the second ODI at Saxton Oval, Nelson on December 20 and the third ODI at McLean Park, Napier on December 23.
The first T20I is being held in Napier, followed by the second and third in Mount Maunganui. Mitchell Santner is captaining New Zealand, while Bangladesh are led by Najmul Hossain Shanto.
