Following their historic victory in the one-off Test match between the two sides, India will host Australia for a three match ODI series spanning across the new year. All three matches will take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, which also hosted the Test match.
Although they played a five-match T20I series in India last year, Australia haven’t played an ODI series in India since 2018, where they cleaned up with a 3-0 series win. They come off the back of a 2-0 ODI series win over the West Indies in October. India’s last ODI series was a 1-1 draw in Bangladesh, which ended in controversy after Bangladesh’s victory in the final match.
