The 2023 Women’s Ashes has got off to a brilliant start with the only Test match hanging on a knife’s edge by the end of day four. Ellyse Perry scored a captivating 99 on the first day, followed by Tammy Beaumont creating history on the third by becoming the first Englishwoman to score a double century, and Sophie Ecclestone completing her first ten-for in Test cricket on the fourth.
The action will soon shift from the red ball to the white ball with the three T20Is and three ODIs lined up next.
The Women’s Ashes is following a points system like it generally does, with a Test win awarded four points, a draw awarded two, and a victory in each of the white-ball games, ODIs or T20Is, awarded two more.
Australia had won the T20I leg of the 2021/22 Women’s Ashes 1-0, with two of the games ending in No Results.

The three-match T20I series will be played from July 1-July 8.

The matches will be played across Birmingham and London, with Edgbaston, Kia Oval, and Lord’s, each hosting one game each.
The first and the third matches will start at 6:35 pm local time while the second game which will be played at the Kia Oval, will start at 6 pm.
