Watch: Jasprit Bumrah broke the MCG Test wide open by removing Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh in an over to account for his 200th and 201st Test wickets.
Australia took a 105-run first innings lead after dismissing Nitish Kumar Reddy early on day four. Bumrah got rid of Sam Konstas in the seventh over of the second innings, but Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne's 37-run second-wicket partnership looked like it would take the game away from India.
Mohammed Siraj removed Smith in the 33rd over of the innings to give India a slight opening, immediately after which they brought on Bumrah from the other end.
Having already dismissed Head for a duck in the first innings, Bumrah got rid of the highest run-scorer in the series cheaply again, getting him to lob a catch to square leg for one off an innocuous length ball. That was his 200th wicket in Test cricket: he became the first bowler to the landmark at an average under 20.
Four balls later, Bumrah got a back of length ball to rise sharply and take the glove of Mitchell Marsh as Australia were pegged back from 80-2 to 85-5, their lead reading 190. He was not done though as Alex Carey was the next to go, castled by a full ball in Bumrah's next over, leaving Australia at 91-6.
