Australia opener Nathan McSweeney lost his wicket to India pacer Jasprit Bumrah for the fourth successive time in Test cricket, putting him on an unwanted list.
On day two of the third Test between Australia and India in Brisbane, the hosts resumed on 28-0 after incessant rain meant only 13.2 overs of play had been possible on day one.
Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah struck early on, removing Usman Khawaja within the first three overs of the day. Just two overs later, he struck again to remove right-hander Nathan McSweeney for nine off 49 balls, leaving the hosts at 38-2.

The second wicket underlined a remarkable head-to-head record between Bumrah and McSweeney – the opener has been unbeaten on one occasion in the ongoing series, but has been dismissed by Bumrah in each of his other four innings.
It's an inauspicious start to the (makeshift) opener's Test career, and the run of his first four Test dismissals to Bumrah has earned McSweeney a spot on an unwanted list.
Full list: Men's Test batters to lose their first four wickets to the same bowler
McSweeney is now the 19th batter in the history of men's Test cricket whose first four dismissals have come against the same bowler. He is the third Australian on the list, after Ted a'Beckett against England's Jack White in 1928-29, and Damien Martyn against Curtly Ambrose in 1992-93.

Martyn's record is one step beyond McSweeney's, as his first five dismissals in Test cricket came against Ambrose. A similar fate befell England's Nigel Howard against India's Vinoo Mankad in 1951-52. In fact, Howard only batted six times in Test cricket – the one time Mankad did not dismiss him, he remained not out.
The only batter in men's Test history so far to lose their first six wickets to the same bowler is Daren Ganga, to Shaun Pollock in 1998-99. McSweeney may yet match or break that record, but will surely be hoping not to do so.
