PM XI vs India: News
To fine tune their batting lineup this time, they will play a practice match at the Manuka Oval, with captain Rohit Sharma set to lead the side having arrived in India after being unavailable for the first Test. He will replace Jasprit Bumrah as captain, with Bumrah winning his first Test in charge in Perth as well as taking a five-for. The tourists will need to land upon how their top order will step out, after KL Rahul enjoyed success with his move back up to open.
There could also be game-time for some of the reserve players in India's squad, live Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel. Shubman Gill is a doubt for participation in the game but he was batting in the India practice nets on Friday (November 29), a hint that he might be near to match fitness again. Gill missed the first Test after sustaining an injury during warm-ups.
