India have selected a squad of 15 players to represent the 'A' team against Australia A, before the main team arrives for the five-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy later this month.

AUS-A vs IND-A 2024: Squad news

India A will take on Australia A in two unofficial "Test" matches, lasting four days each. India A's squad has only two players who have been named in the 18-strong main squad – opening batter Abhimanyu Easwaran and pace bowling all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy.

Australia A's squad contains 17 players, with the burning question being who will partner Usman Khawaja at the top of Australia's batting order. The four in the frame at the moment are all in the 'A' squad – Sam Konstas, Marcus Harris, Cameron Bancroft and Nathan McSweeney.

AUS-A vs IND-A 2024: When will the matches start?

The first match will be held at the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay from October 31. The second will be at the Melbourne Cricket Ground from November 7-10.
