The tour will begin with three T20Is that will begin from June 7 till June 100, followed by five one-day internationals between June 14 and 24. The Test series will begin in Galle five days later.
The two teams had earlier met for five T20Is Down Under earlier this year in February, with Australia winning 4-1.
The visitors will be without Pat Cummins for the shortest format, with Cricket Australia resting their Test skipper. Adam Zampa will miss the whole tour as he awaits the birth of his child. The side will welcome back a number of their star players who had missed the series against Pakistan due to the 2022 IPL.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, have welcomed back players Wanindu Hasaranga and Bhanuka Rajapaksa, after the latter missed out on the tour of India. Hasaranga had been suffering from Covid-19, while Rajapaksa was not selected due to fitness concerns.
