Australia batter Steve Smith didn’t look best pleased during his innings on day one of the third Test against Pakistan when a roving camera briefly distracted him.
After facing a delivery during the 11th over of Australia’s innings, Smith was captured animatedly gesturing at the camera moving in the midwicket region, echoing a similar incident that occurred during the 2021/22 Ashes involving Stuart Broad.
But it’s clear that the batter saw the comical side of the moment too; Smith was later captured making peace with the roving camera and signing it too.
Smith didn’t let the distraction during his innings get in the way of his run-scoring; he finished on 59 to make it three half-centuries in three innings this series.
