Watch: David Warner in high spirits during the first Pakistan-Australia Test, keeping the crowds entertained with his wide array of dance moves even as the game petered out to a draw.
Warner, who has unofficially been declared the King of TikTok for his fun dance videos that also include his wife and three daughters on occasions, brought out the moves during Australia’s first Test in Pakistan at Rawalpindi. The game ended in a drab draw, with the visitors fielding for a total of 239 overs over five days on a flat pitch that has been heavily criticised. Both teams combined to score 1,187 runs in the game with only 14 wickets falling in the Test match.
However, Warner took the opportunity to keep the spectators thrilled as he displayed his bhangra moves and even grooved to the hook steps from the famous Indian movie Pushpa while fielding on the fine leg boundary. The left-hander gave in to the chants of “Warner, Warner” a number of times, either entertaining the crowds with the signature hand-under-chin gesture from Pushpa or dancing to the hook step of the famous song Saami Saami from the movie. That wasn’t all as he showed his versatility by switching to Bhangra on the fifth day, to prove that a fulfilling career in dancing awaits when he decides to retire from the game.
