In a short turnaround after a heartbreaking defeat in the 2023 World Cup final against Australia, India will have to front up against the same opponents in the shortest format in a five-match series.

The first match will be played in Vishakhapatnam on November 23, followed by four more games, in Thiruvananthapuram (November 26), Guwahati (November 28), Raipur (December 1), and Bengaluru (December 3).

Australia had announced their squad for the series mid-way through the World Cup, with wicketkeeper-batter Matthew Wade set to lead them. Several members from their World Cup-winning squad will also be present in the T20I series.
