Watch: Virat Kohli was in a generous mood following India’s 2-1 win over Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, completed today (March 13), gifting much of his kit, including some of his Test shirts, to the travelling Australian team.
The BCCI posted a video of Kohli giving Usman Khawaja and Alex Carey one of his Test shirts each, while Cricbuzz writer Bharat Sundaresan reported that Marnus Labuschagne had been given a new bat.
Not sure if Pete Handscomb got the pair of pads he was after from Virat Kohli but @marnus3cricket certainly seems to have got a new bat & he seems rather chuffed with it, not to forget the chats with Rahul Dravid and Cheteshwar Pujara at the end of the friendliest #IndvAus series pic.twitter.com/PxL2FqsKAK

The series has been an unusually friendly one between the sides, with little controversy throughout. Kohli will remember it fondly, having made his long-awaited 28th Test century after a gap of 1,205 days since his 27th.
Several of Australia’s players will remain in India for the ODI series between the sides, which begins on Friday, March 17.
