Travis Head, Adam Zampa and Jake Fraser-McGurk, who all took part in the T20I series against England.

After a superb win in the first T20I, Australia lost the second against England before the final match was washed out. Here are their player ratings for the series.

Matt Short: 8/10

69 runs @ 34.5, SR: 138.0 | 5 wickets @ 4.4, ER: 7.3

Short had a solid series with the bat, but might have liked a bit more than the 28 off 24 he got in Cardiff, in a high-scoring game. He did surprise with the ball, though, taking 5-22 in that same match (even if a couple were after the game was more or less done).

Travis Head: 8/10

90 runs @ 45.0, SR: 243.2

Head continued to do what he does in this series. His 59 (23) in Southampton included a 30-run over off Sam Curran, and his quickfire 31 in the second T20I was invaluable in getting Australia off to a good start.

Mitchell Marsh: 3/10

2 runs @ 2.0, SR: 66.6

Marsh only played the first match of the series, getting out for two after trying to slog Adil Rashid.

Josh Inglis: 8/10

79 runs @ 39.5, SR: 149.1

Inglis continued his good form from Scotland, doing what was asked of him. He kept the scoring rate ticking along in the middle overs with knocks of 37 and 42, and was up to the mark behind the stumps as well.

Marcus Stoinis: 3/10

12 runs @ 6.0, SR: 92.3 | 1 wicket @ 61.0, ER: 12.2

It was a poor series for Stoinis who got out early on both occasions, and was expensive with ball in hand.

Tim David: 1/10

1 run @ 0.5, SR: 25.0

David had a series to forget surviving just four balls across both his innings.

Cameron Green: 3/10

26 runs @ 26.0, SR: 108.3 | 1 wicket @ 38.0, ER: 11.4

Green had a quiet couple of games, scoring a scratchy 13 off 16 balls in Southampton and an unbeaten 13 in Cardiff. He didn't have much success with ball in hand either.

Sean Abbott: 7/10

5 wickets @ 13.0, ER: 8.9

Abbott didn't get much chance to bat, but did well in his primary role with the ball. Four of his wickets were also genuine batting threats in Phil Salt, Sam Curran, Jordan Cox and Will Jacks.

Xavier Bartlett: 6/10

1 wicket @ 26.0, ER: 7.1

Bartlett picked up a wicket in his only outing, and kept things tight. Unfortunately, he had to go off the field with a side strain, and will miss the ODI series as well.

Adam Zampa: 6/10

2 wickets @ 28.5, ER: 7.1

Zampa was excellent in the first match, taking 2-20 in his four overs. He had kept things tight in the second as well, until Jacob Bethell took him down in a 20-run over to shift the momentum England's way. Six may be a tad harsh, but the standards are high for one of the T20 format's premier spinners.

Josh Hazlewood: 7/10

2 wickets @ 16.0, ER: 8.0

Hazlewood was rested in the second T20I, but quietly did his job in the first. He conceded at eight an over in defence of 180, and took the crucial wicket of Liam Livingstone to effectively end England's chase.

Jake Fraser-McGurk: 7/10

50 runs @ 50.0, SR: 161.3

Dropped in the first match after a poor tour of Scotland, 'the Rooster' reminded everyone of his talents in the second game. Fraser-McGurk walloped his first T20I fifty off 31 balls, batting out of position at No.3.

Aaron Hardie: 6/10

20 runs, SR: 222.2 | 0 wickets, ER: 11.5

Another one who only played the second match, Aaron Hardie did what was asked of him with the bat, slamming 20 off nine balls from No.8. He opened the bowling, but proved expensive in his two overs.

Cooper Connolly: 4/10

0 wickets, ER: 10.0

Connolly played one game and didn't get a chance to bat. He was serviceable with the ball, as his left-arm spin went for 20 runs in two overs in a high-scoring chase.
