Kohli and Kishan are both known to be fun characters on and off the field and their antics were on display again in Colombo after India completed a record ten-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the 2023 Asia Cup final.

As preparations were going on for the presentation ceremony after the game, a few members of the Indian team were standing beside the dias, engaging in playful banter.

In a video captured from the stands, it is seen that Kishan started walking away from the group imitating the kind of mannerisms that Kohli generally exhibits while walking, including the occasional neck-jerk. As Kishan returns back to the group, Kohli then initiates an awkward, exaggerated walk with arms wide apart, mocking Kishan, leading to loud laughter from the crowd that was watching.

Earlier in the day, India blew off Sri Lanka for a hard-to-believe score of 50 – the lowest ODI total against India, ever. Mohammed Siraj was the wrecker-in-chief, taking six wickets for 21 runs, including a four-wicket over in the fourth over of the innings and a 16-ball five-for, the joint-quickest five-for in ODI cricket history.

India needed just 6.1 overs to chase the target down as India promoted Kishan to open the batting alongside Shubman Gill, with Rohit Sharma pushing himself down the order in a low run-chase for the second time in the last few months.

The victory marked India’s eighth Asia Cup triumph, the most by any team in the history of the tournament.
