The big game went into the reserve day, and there was little to cheer for Pakistan as Virat Kohli and KL Rahul brought up their respective hundreds, taking India to 356-2. Babar Azam’s team had picked up two wickets on Sunday, but they went wicketless on Monday as the India batters made merry.
Pakistan, who had already suffered an injury scare after Haris Rauf did not take the field on the reserve day due to a side strain, also saw Naseem walk off midway through the 49th over.
After bowling the second ball of his 10th over, he was in visible pain and eventually walked off holding his hand. He was unable to complete the remaining four deliveries in his over, which was completed by Iftikhar Ahmed.
The extent of Naseem’s injury is not known yet. He gave 54 runs in 9.4 overs and did not pick up a wicket.

Earlier in the tournament, Naseem injured his shoulder when he put in a dive and landed on the ball. He was seen lying on his face for a few moments before he was helped by the medical staff to the dressing room. However, he returned soon after and ended with figures of 3-34 in his 5.4 overs.
