The BCCI have announced the India A squad for the Asian Cricket Council men’s Emerging Asia Cup 2023: here’s the complete team list for India, along with player news and injury updates.

The tournament will be held from July 13 to 23 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and will feature eight teams: India A, Nepal, UAE A, Pakistan A, Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A and Oman A. Fifteen matches will be played in all.

The team will be led by Yash Dhull, who captained the India junior side to the U19 World Cup title in the Caribbean last year. His U19 teammates Nishant Sindhu and Rajvardhan Hangargekar are also part of the squad. Abhishek Sharma, from the 2018 U19 World Cup batch, will be vice-captain.

Dhruv Jurel and Prabhsimran Singh, who set IPL 2023 alight with their performances for Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings respectively, are the two designated wicketkeepers.

Four players – Harsh Dubey, Snell Patel, Nehal Wadhera and Mohit Redkar – are part of the standby list.

The coaching staff includes Sitanshu Kotak, the head coach, along with Sairaj Bahutule, bowling coach, and Munish Bali, fielding coach.
