India will play Afghanistan in their third 2022 Asia Cup Super Fours encounter on September 8 — here is where you can watch IND v AFG on TV, along with the live streaming details.
In Group A, India beat Pakistan in a thriller in their first match of the tournament, then beat Hong Kong to qualify for the Super Fours. However, once there, they started off poorly, losing their first two matches, against Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Even a win against Afghanistan will not assure them of a berth in the final: they will need Pakistan to lose against both Sri Lanka and Afghanistan and need to qualify on net run rate.
In the tournament opener, Afghanistan bowled out Sri Lanka for 105 and chased down the target in 10.1 overs. They restricted Bangladesh to 127-7 and won by seven wickets in the 19th over. However, they squandered an excellent start against Sri Lanka and managed only 175-6 – a target Sri Lanka overhauled with five balls to spare. They can still qualify – but for that, they need to win at least one match.
