All of the matches in the series will be held at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium with the first set to take place on November 25 and the final match wrapping up six days later. 17-year-old uncapped leg spinner, Noor Ahmed, has been included in Afghanistan’s squad after building up his reputation on the T20 franchise circuit, and taking figures of 4-10 on his T20I debut. Hashmatullah Shahidi will lead the team in the series.
Sri Lanka’s squad is yet to be named following their return from the T20 World Cup in Australia. In their most recent ODI outing, the Asia Cup Champions beat Australia in a five-match ODI series 3-2 Charith Asalanka and Pathum Nissanka both registered centuries.
