India will host Afghanistan for a three-match T20I series from January 11 – here’s where to watch the IND vs AFG clashes live, including TV channel and live streaming details.

The first match of the series will be played on January 11 at IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali followed by the second T20I on January 14 at Holkar Stadium, Indore and the third T20I on January 17 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

The two teams will reconvene for the first time since India trounced the tourists by eight wickets in the 2023 ODI World Cup. Notably, this is the first white-ball series between these two countries and it is also India’s last before the 2024 T20I World Cup in June this year.

Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have made a return to India’s T20I squad for the first time since facing a 10-wicket semi-final defeat against England in the 2022 T20I World Cup. However, coach Rahul Dravid confirmed that Kohli will miss the curtain-raiser game due to personal reasons.

For Afghanistan, Rashid Khan is set to miss the series. He underwent surgery after the 2023 World Cup and had to miss the Big Bash League as well as the three-match T20I series against the UAE. Ibrahim Zadran, who led Afghanistan instead, has been retained as captain for the India T20Is.
