Bangladesh host Afghanistan for a short white-ball series, comprising of three ODIs and two T20Is from February 23 — here’s the full squad and team list of BAN vs AFG 2022.
Bangladesh take on Afghanistan in the first ODI at Chattogram on February 23, with the hosts naming a 15-member squad that is led by Tamim Iqbal. The T20Is will feature 14 members and is headlined by the return of Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das, all of who missed the series against Pakistan. Shakib was recovering from injury while Das and Rahim were rested due to bio-bubble fatigue.
Afghanistan, on the other hand, have four uncapped players in the T20I squad in Qais Ahmad, Azmat Omarzai, Darwish Rasooli and Nijat Masood. The T20I side will be led by Mohammad Nabi while Hashmat Shahidi will lead the ODI team.
The ODIs will be played on February 23, 25 and 28 in Chattogram before the action shifts to Dhaka, where the two T20Is will be played on March 3 and 5.
