Zimbabwe will host Ireland for a T20I series from December 7. Here’s everything you need to know about the schedule of the ZIM vs IRE T20Is, including the full fixtures list, match timings and venues.

Zimbabwe will look to salvage some pride in the three-match T20I home series against Ireland after they failed to secure an ICC T20 World Cup 2024 berth owing to their humiliating defeats against Namibia and Uganda in the Africa Region Qualifier.

The first T20I will be played on December 7, followed by the second and the third matches on December 9 and 10, respectively. The Harare Sports Club, located in the capital city of Harare, is the preferred venue for the three clashes.

Meanwhile, Ireland faced contrasting fortunes as compared to Zimbawe in the Europe Qualifier as they sealed the ticket to the 2024 T20 World Cup in the Caribbean and the USA alongside Scotland. This series will provide them with an opportunity to test out their plans and strategies ahead of the big event next year.

During Ireland’s last tour to Zimbabwe in January earlier this year, the home side clinched the T20I series 2-1, thanks to Ryan Burl, who claimed 3/29 with the ball in the first game before producing an all-round show of 30* (11) and 2/28 to seal the third fixture, and hence the series.

Both sides have locked horns in 11 T20Is so far, with Ireland winning six times and Zimbabwe prevailing on five occasions.
