The first ever women’s under-19 T20 World Cup will take place in January 2023 – here is the full fixtures list and match timings for the Women’s U19 World Cup 2023.

Originally meant to take place in January 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic has delayed the tournament for two years. But in January, the competition will finally get underway in South Africa, with 16 teams competing. There will be four groups of four teams for the first round of the tournament, where each team will play the other three in their group once before the top three from each group advance to the Super Six stage. The top two teams from each of the Super Six leagues will advance to the semi-finals. The final is set to be played on January 29.

Several teams have already announced their squads, with England the first to announce their 15 players travelling to South Africa. The India side will be captained by Shafali Verma, who made her debut for the senior India T20I side in 2019 but is still only 18. Richa Ghosh, another senior India international, also features in the India squad.
