Watch: The latest in a string of pre-delivery run outs has come in the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup, with Pakistan’s Zaib-un-Nisa taking the wicket of Rwanda’s Shakila Niyomuhoza in the final over.

With two balls left in the innings, Rwanda’s score read 105-7. Perhaps in an attempt to help her side to as much of a first-innings advantage as possible, Niyomuhoza left her crease before Zaib-un-Nisa had bowled.

The Pakistan bowler took the bails off before the point of release, followed by an appeal on the way back to her run-up mark.

With Niyomuhoza well out of her ground, the umpire didn’t need to take a moment before raising their finger. Niyomuhoza departed without protest.

Rwanda managed one more run before their innings came to a close at 106-8.

Pakistan had little trouble in response, taking victory in the 18th over for the loss of just two wickets. Eyman Fatima scored two fours in the final two balls to take Pakistan past their target and finishing with an individual score of 65 not-out off 60 balls, an innings that included 11 fours.
