The Women’s Big Bash League 2022/23 will begin on October 13 – here are the squads, full team lists and player injury news for WBBL 08.

Women’s Big Bash League 2022/23, the eighth edition of the tournament, will begin with a match between Brisbane Heat and Sydney Sixers on the night of October 13, at the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay under the lights. The eight-team double round-robin league will continue until November 20. These will be followed by the Eliminator, the Challenger, and the Final.

Apart from the abovementioned teams, the league will, as always, also consist of Perth Scorchers (the defending champions), Melbourne Stars, Melbourne Renegades, Sydney Thunder, Adelaide Strikers, and Hobart Hurricanes.
