West Indies will host India for two Test matches as part of the 2023-2025 World Test Championship in July 2023. Here is all you need to know about the WI vs IND Test schedule, including full fixtures list, venues, and match timings.

Both India and West Indies will start their respective 2023-2025 World Test Championship campaigns with a two-Test series in the Caribbean between July 12 and July 24.

The Indian team has already landed in the West Indies and preparations have begun. The last time India toured the West Indies for a Test series was in 2019 when they won 2-0. They would look to repeat the same this time around as well.

West Indies, on the other hand, last won a Test match against India more than 20 years back, in Jamaica in 2002. Since then, the teams have faced each other 23 times in Test cricket: India have won 14, while nine have been drawn.

West Indies vs India Test schedule 2023: Venues

The two Tests will be played at Windsor Park in Roseau, Dominica, and the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad respectively.

This will just be the second time that these two teams will meet in a Test match at Windsor Park. The last time they did, was in 2011. That match ended in a draw.

On the other hand, the Queen’s Park Oval will witness the 14th Test match between West Indies and India later this month. Both teams have an even record on this ground, having won three games each out of 13, while the other seven ended in draws.

WI vs IND Test schedule 2023: Match timings

Both Test matches will start at 10 am local time, which translates to 7:30 pm Indian time.

With a normal playing time of seven hours (including forty minutes for the Lunch break and twenty minutes for Tea), the scheduled close of play on non-rain-affected days will be at 2:30 am Indian time, with a provision to extend play for half an hour if overs aren’t completed, as is normally the case worldwide.
