Watch: Pat Cummins launches hooping toe-crusher to dismiss Mohammad Rizwan for a duck

by Wisden Staff 5 minute read

Pat Cummins sent Mohammad Rizwan on his way for a six-ball duck, producing a vicious inswinging delivery to have the Pakistan wicketkeeper adjudged lbw.

On the final day of the Lahore Test between Pakistan and Australia, Cummins, who’d removed Fawad Alam lbw in his previous over, hooped the ball back into the right-hander to have the umpire raise the finger and leave Pakistan 167-5.

Rizwan did not review the decision, but had he done, it would have been overturned; the ball was shown to be hitting his foot outside the line of the stumps.

Pakistan, battling to save the last Test of a three-match series, were 190-5 at the tea. Soon after the break they lost their captain Babar Azam for 55, with the batter dismissed by Nathan Lyon for 55.
