The schedule for the 2024 men’s T20 World Cup has been released. Here is the complete list of fixtures for Australia in the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Australia won their maiden T20 World Cup title in 2021, but could not make it to the top four when they hosted the edition in 2022. Having won both the World Test Championship and the World Cup in 2023, they will look to do treble at the 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup in June.

Where will the T20 World Cup be held?

The 2024 men’s T20 World Cup will be held across the West Indies and the United States of America. The tournament will start on June 1 with the final to be played on June 29.

How are the teams divided?

Twenty teams will feature in the 2024 edition of the men’s T20 World Cup, making it the largest edition in terms of participants. The teams have been drawn into four groups of five each.

The group stage will be played in the single round robin format, and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Eights. These are the four groups:

Group A: India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada, The USA
Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman
Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea
Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal

Where do Australia play their games?

England will play two of their group matches at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, and the other two at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua.

Their marquee clash against England will be held at Kensington Oval on June 8.
