South Africa will tour Sri Lanka for three ODIs and three T20Is between September 2 and September 14, 2021 – here’s the full SL v SA squads and team list.

South Africa are missing a few prominent players in Quinton de Kock, David Miller and Lungi Ngidi for the ODI leg of the tour of Sri Lanka in early September, but the three players are expected to arrive in time for the T20Is that follow. While Miller is recovering from a hamstring injury, de Kock is rested and Ngidi is off due to personal reasons.

Sri Lanka, meanwhile, have named an extended 30-man squad for the series with veteran batsman and former skipper Dinesh Chandimal earning a recall. There are several uncapped players in the group that does not include Angelo Mathews, who denied a contract before the Indian series, Dimuth Karunaratne, and Suranga Lakmal. Dasun Shanaka, recently elevated to ODI captaincy as well, will lead the side in the series.

The entire series will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
