Afghanistan will travel to Sri Lanka in late November to play a three-match ODI series against the Asia Cup champions as part of the Cricket World Cup Super League – here is the schedule and match timings for all of the ODIs.

Sri Lanka are currently ranked tenth in the ICC World Cup Super League standings, outside of an automatic qualification position for next year’s World Cup. They have played 18 matches in the league since 2020, and have won 11, beating Australia 3-2 in their last five match ODI series in June.

Afghanistan have included 18-year-old Noor Ahmad in their squad for the series, the uncapped wrist-spinner has been attracting a lot of attention on the T20 franchise league circuit and claimed 4-10 against Zimbabwe on T20I debut. In their last ODI series in March, Afghanistan beat Zimbabwe 3-0 taking all 30 points on offer for the Super League where they currently sit in seventh place. All three matches in the series will be played in Kandy.
