Bangladesh‘s tour of South Africa begins on March 18, 2022: here’s the SA vs Ban 2022 schedule, including the full list of fixtures, match start timings and venues for the South Africa v Bangladesh ODI & Test series.

This is Bangladesh’s fourth international tour of the nation. On their first three visits, they were unable to win a single game, and will be looking at this series as a golden opportunity to stun South Africa at home.

The Proteas, on the other hand, are a side in transition. They showed their mettle against India in the home series in December-January, and also managed to hold World Test Champions New Zealand 1-1 away from home. Given Bangladesh’s recent returns, including a historic Test win against New Zealand, the hosts will not be taking them lightly.

There were questions around the availability of Shakib Al Hasan, but the all-rounder is finally touring South Africa. There are also reports that state South Africa’s red-ball players might not be available for the Test leg of the tour due to the IPL.

South Africa v Bangladesh, 2022: Venues for ODI & Test series

The ODI leg will be played at Centurion and Johannesburg. The Tests will be played at Durban and Port Elizabeth. A total of three ODIs and two Tests will be played on the tour.
