Watch: South Africa prospect Marco Jansen, who played for Mumbai Indians in this year’s IPL, got the better of Devdutt Padikkal during the third ‘unofficial’ Test between South Africa ‘A’ and India ‘A’.

Marco Jansen bowled a peach of a delivery, which was pitched up and came back in at a searing pace. Devdutt Padikkal tried to fend it away, but his bat came down too late, and the batter ended up losing his off-stump.

This wicket left India ‘A’ at 46-2 at the beginning of the 12th over. Jansen has recently been named in South Africa’s Test squad for the three-match series against India.

Interestingly, Jansen had played an encounter against RCB, Padikkal’s IPL team, this season, but the two players hadn’t faced-off in that contest.
