The knockout phase of the 2023/24 Ranji Trophy will begin on February 23, 2024. Here is the Ranji Trophy 2024 schedule for each quarter-final and semi-final as well as the final.

The 2023/24 Ranji Trophy featured the usual 38 teams. The best 32 of these were split into four Elite Groups, featuring eight teams each, while the other six formed the Plate Group.

Vidarbha topped Elite Group A with 33 points, and qualified along with runners-up and defending champions Saurashtra (29). In the quarter-final, Vidarbha will host Karnataka at Nagpur. The second-most successful team in the history of Ranji Trophy, Karnataka finished second in Elite Group C with 27 points. Tamil Nadu, who pipped them by one point, will host Saurashtra at Coimbatore.

Mumbai (37), the most successful side in Ranji Trophy history, led the points table in Elite Group B with an 11-point lead over Andhra (26), while Madhya Pradesh (32) and Baroda (24) qualified from Elite Group D. Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh will host, in that order, Baroda at the Bandra-Kurla Complex and Andhra at Indore.

Of the four teams that finished last in their respective groups, Manipur (0) and Goa (4) had fewer points than Bihar (5) and Himachal Pradesh (11), and will be relegated to the Plate Group. They will be replaced by this season’s Plate Group champions Hyderabad and runners-up Meghalaya.
