The final of the 2023/24 Ranji Trophy will be played between Vidarbha and Mumbai from tomorrow (March 10) at the Wankhede Stadium and here’s where you can watch the clash live on TV and broadcast.

The 2023/24 Ranji Trophy game will be played at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday with Mumbai and Vidarbha taking on each other. Mumbai are led by Ajinkya Rahane while Akshay Wadkar will be leading the Vidarbha side.

Mumbai last made the final in 2022 where they lost to Madhya Pradesh. They last won the title in 2015 after they beat Saurashtra in the summit clash. Mumbai are the most successful team in the history of the competition with a whopping 41 titles. No other team has won more than eight Ranji Trophy competitions, with Karnataka the second-most successful team, winning eight times.

Vidarbha have won the tournament twice in the last five seasons: They first clinched the Ranji Trophy in 2017-18 and then defended their title the following season. While they beat Delhi the first time, they got the better of Saurashtra the following season.

Path to the final:

Mumbai finished top of their table this time, winning five of their seven games in Elite Group B. They lost one game and advanced to the next round with 37 points. In the quarter-final, they drew with Baroda but advanced because of a first innings lead. In the semi-final, Mumbai got the better of Tamil Nadu, beating them by an innings and 70 runs.

Vidarbha, on the other hand, also topped their group and ended with five wins in the first round, qualifying for the quarters with 33 points. They defeated Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh in the top eight and top four, respectively.
