Pakistan will host New Zealand for a five-match T20I series starting tomorrow (April 14) – here’s where to watch Pakistan v New Zealand live, including TV channels and live streaming services.
The hosts have named a full strength squad for the series, after resting several key players for their recent series defeat against Afghanistan. Babar Azam is back to captain the squad with Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman and Haris Rauf also back in the squad.
Ihsanullah returns to the T20I side after he finished as the leading wicket-taker of the series against Afghanistan, and Saim Ayub also retains his spot.
New Zealand have named a more depleted squad with several of their players missing the series to play in the 2023 IPL. Tom Latham will captain the Black Caps with Tim Southee, Kane Williamson, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, Devon Conway, Finn Allen, Michael Bracewell and Lockie Ferguson all unavailable for selection. Uncapped players Chad Bowes and Henry Shipley have been included in the squad.
New Zealand recently beat Sri Lanka 2-1 in a close T20I series at home. The first match went to a super over before Sri Lanka claimed a 1-0 series lead, and New Zealand clinched the series with a penultimate ball victory in the third.
The series in Pakistan will kick-off at the Gaddafi Stadium, where all of the first three matches will be held. Both squads will travel to Rawalpindi for the final two matches, with the series concluding on April 24. A five match ODI series will follow.
