Pakistan speedster Shahnawaz Dahani pegged England back after the tourists got off to a solid start n the second T20I in Karachi by taking the wickets of Alex Hales and Dawid Malan with consecutive deliveries.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first, England started well with openers Phil Salt and Alex Hales taking them to 42-0 after five overs. Dahani, bowling his second over of the evening, then rocked England’s momentum by taking two wickets in as many deliveries.

They were big wickets, too. Hales – a half-centurion in the series opener – was deceived by a slower ball while Malan – recently the number one ranked men’s T20I batter in the world – was bowled behind his legs by an 88mph delivery.
