Australia will play a three-match ODI series along with a one-off T20I on their tour to Pakistan — here’s the full white-ball team list and squad, including injury replacement updates of PAK vs AUS 2022 series.
Australia and Pakistan engaged in a three-match Test series, which the visitors won 1-0 following a resounding win in the final game. Following the red-ball matches, both teams will face each other in a short white-ball series, comprising of three ODIs and one T20I from March 29 in Lahore.
The hosts are dealing with a number of injury issues, with Steve Smith ruled out of the tour to manage his elbow injury, while Mitchell Marsh suffered a hip-flexor injury. Mitchell Swepson was called in as Smith’s replacement.
Australia are also without Josh Inglis for the first two ODIs and Ashton Agar will only be available for the T20I after both cricketers tested positive for Covid-19.
The visitors are also without the services of players such as Pat Cummins and David Warner, who have decided to take a break before they fly to India for the IPL.
The hosts, on the other hand, gave ODI call-ups to Mohammad Haris and Asif Afridi, with both squads being led by Babar Azam.
