The Pakistan Cup 2022/23 began on Saturday, December 10 – here is a look at where you can watch the action and the platforms where Pakistan Cup 2022/23 will be live streamed.
PTV Sports will broadcast the semi-final and the final, scheduled to be hosted by the National Bank Cricket Arena.
Pakistan’s premier domestic List A competition is set for another edition, and several teams would be hoping to put up a good show. Balochistan enter the competition as defending champions and would be led by Yasir Shah, who is not part of the Pakistan Test squad currently playing against England. Hassan Ali, who did not feature at the T20 World Cup for Pakistan, is slated to lead Southern Punjab. Elsewhere, Umar Amin will lead Northern, while Aamir Yamin and Khalid Usman will be in charge of Central Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, respectively.
The tournament will take place on a double-league basis with all teams playing each other twice in this phase. All the fixtures will take place in Karachi, with three different venues hosting the round-robin phase. The semi-final and final, meanwhile, will be held at the National Bank Cricket Arena. This edition of the Pakistan Cup also provides several players with an opportunity to stake their claim for a permanent spot in Pakistan’s ODI side. Shortly after the Test series against New Zealand, which is scheduled to culminate on January 8, Pakistan play three ODIs against the Black Caps as they build towards next year’s ODI World Cup.
