New Zealand v Pakistan 2020: TV channel, match start time & streaming schedule for the Test series

New Zealand Pakistan live
by Wisden Staff 2-minute read

The first Test between New Zealand and Pakistan is set to begin on Boxing Day in Mount Maunganui – here is where you can watch its live telecast and streaming.

After New Zealand won what was for the large part a one-sided T20I series – they won the first two matches to wrap up the series before Pakistan won the third T20I – it’s on to the Tests now, starting with the Boxing Day clash at the Bay Oval in Mount Maungauni.

Pakistan are expected to have it tough, given they will be without their talisman Babar Azam. The captain is still to recover from his thumb injury, meaning Mohammad Rizwan, the wicketkeeper-batsman, will stand in as captain in his place. Also missing will be opener Imam-ul-Haq.

It means Pakistan might have a rather fresh looking line-up should the likes of the uncapped 24-year-old Imran Butt get a look-in, alongside Faheem Ashraf, who returned to the 17-man Test squad after two years, and Haris Sohail, who is in the side having missed the England Tests.

There are no such concerns for New Zealand. In fact, Kane Williamson will return to captain the side, having missed their last Test against West Indies to be present for the birth of his first child.

The New Zealand v Pakistan Tests should be an interesting one – find below the live telecast and streaming details for the two-Test series, as well as the start times for each match.
