Watch: RCB recruit Finn Allen dismissed for golden duck on T20I debut

Watch: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) recruit Finn Allen made his T20I debut on Sunday against Bangladesh in the first game of the series, but registered a golden duck, cleaned up by another debutant.

Allen, who racked up big runs at a quick rate in the Super Smash, has been called up by RCB as a replacement for Josh Philippe ahead of IPL 2021. The hard-hitting batsman was also called up by New Zealand as cover for the Australia series but did not get a game then.

On Sunday, he was picked at the top of the order alongside Martin Guptill, who was playing his 100th T20I. Nasum Ahmed, Bangladesh’s debutant left-arm spinner, bowled an impressive over to start off with. Off the last ball of the over, he had Allen cleaned up with an arm ball that went between the batsman’s bat and pad, hitting leg-stump.
