RCB vs KKR: IPL 2023 team news

RCB are expected to be without Josh Hazlewood for this game as well as he continues his recovery from injury. With David Willey in good form, though, they may not be fretting over Hazlewood’s absence too much. Faf du Plessis has only batted in their last couple of matches owing to a rib injury. If he has not recovered sufficiently enough, expect that to continue. In that scenario, Virat Kohli will continue to lead the side.

KKR, meanwhile, have also been without Shardul Thakur in their past few games. If he is fit, KKR can do with another experienced bowler on what may be another runfest. Jason Roy, who batted in the middle order after injuring himself in the field against Chennai Super Kings, is expected to be fit to play a part.

RCB v KKR: IPL Prediction for today’s IPL match

RCB come into this game having won two games on the trot. du Plessis is in stunning form, with Maxwell also having scored three fifties in four outings in Bengaluru. Kohli, too, might enjoy himself in what could be good batting conditions.

KKR, on the other hand, have problems aplenty on the batting front. They seem unsure of their best opening pair and have lacked cohesion throughout the tournament. Their bowling attack has not been great either, having given up three 200-plus scores already.

As they showed earlier in the season, they are capable of beating any opposition. But considering the form and the home advantage, RCB will begin this game as favourites.
