Saturday (April 15, 2023) will see another double header in the IPL, with Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on Delhi Capitals in the afternoon fixture. RCB v DC, LSG v PBKS: IPL 2023 team news

Wanindu Hasaranga is expected to feature for RCB for the first time this season and could replace one of David Willey or Wayne Parnell. The rest of the cast is expected to remain the same, with Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli opening the batting. Glenn Maxwell was also among the runs in their last game and would be hoping to have a similar impact against DC.

DC, meanwhile, could think about playing an extra overseas batter at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. In that case, Mustafizur Rahman could make way for either Rilee Rossouw or Phil Salt. Khaleel Ahmed, if fit, could also return, although there is no clarity yet on whether he has regained full fitness.

LSG are expected to play the same eleven. However, they will be tempted to include Quinton de Kock in place of Kyle Mayers. Krishnappa Gowtham could also have a role to play, especially if the pitch in Lucknow is conducive to spin-bowling.

PBKS have lost two games in succession and might be looking to shake things up. That said, they do not really have a lot of options to choose from. Liam Livingstone has arrived in India but Shikhar Dhawan suggested he might need a few more days to be fit enough to feature. Kagiso Rabada was a touch expensive in their last outing but is expected to retain his place.

Both DC and RCB come into this game on the back of successive losses. The latter, though, would start this game as favourites by virtue of playing at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

LSG will start this fixture as clear favourites. They seem to have more bases covered and will be playing at home against a PBKS side that has now lost two games on the bounce.
